Pre-Wedding Photoshoot
Along with your album, a pre-wedding photoshoot could be one of the best additions you could make to your wedding photography collection. Here’s why:

To reserve a booking I require a 50% non refundable retainer with the balance being due one month before your wedding.
Q & A
Can you describe your style of wedding photography?
A mix of photojournalism, editorial and portraiture photography. The majority of the day I work as a photojournalist, that is as discreetly as possible, capturing the day as it happens. I will lightly pose you in certain situations, steer you towards nice light etc. My goal is to capture the essence of your day in the most beautiful way possible. Allowing you to relive the joys and emotions of your wedding each and every time you look through your album.
How many final edited images can we expect?
Each wedding is unique so it's hard to state an exact amount. As a rough guide, I deliver around 75 images per hour of coverage.
Do you take group family photos?
Yes, I do. Weddings can be one of the few occasions when entire families come together therefore I understand the importance of these photos. However, I highly suggest keeping these types of images to a minimum (a maximum of 15), allowing you and your guests to get back to enjoying the day and me back to my storytelling style.
How do you deliver the images and what format are they?
Image delivery is via your private website that will be online for one year after your event. The digital images are hi-resolution, non watermarked files for which you have full rights for personal usage (albums, prints, social media etc).
Do you provide RAW files?
No, I only provide finished, edited files as you'll find throughout my website.
Do you do a lot of photoshop retouching work on your images?
My philosophy is to get everything as perfect as possible in camera. My delivered images are individually processed files that give them the look you see throughout my website. Any additional retouching required outside of my standard process will incur additional charges.
How soon can we see our images?
It varies with when your wedding is scheduled within the season but you should allow 6 weeks from the date of your wedding for image delivery.
What time of day is the best for our elopement / wedding?
For a more intimate elopement I recommend working forward from sunrise or back from sunset as this allows us to shoot in the nicer, softer light. For a full day wedding I can advise on ceremony and portrait timings during our Skype consultation.
What if it rains?
Many of my favourite photos have been taken during the rain. In Paris I have some 'weather friendly' locations plus of course we're spoilt for choice with beautiful Parisian brasseries. These can make an ideal backdrop for some intimate photos, as well as a nice glass of champagne or warming drink. Be sure to bring a photogenic umbrella if it looks like there may be a chance of showers. Finally don't stress - the weather in France (certainly Paris) changes on an almost daily basis!
Can you help direct and pose us during the portrait shoot?
The portrait session is the one area of your wedding day where I'm not trying my upmost to be discreet. The majority of couples you see throughout my portfolio are not model professionals and have no idea what to expect. I will subtly pose and direct throughout but also encourage those genuine moments. Working together we'll create beautiful, natural looking images.
Will you publish our images on your website?
It's essential for the continued existence and growth of my business that I show fresh, flattering photography. I love showcasing a beautiful, well curated wedding or elopement story on my site and occasionally a third party wedding blog. If you want total privacy and don't want your images showcased I have the option of an NDA (non-disclosure agreement).
You are based in France, do you work outside of Europe?
I do and I love to travel. Any destination outside of Europe I'd be happy to discuss.
How does the album order process work?
I believe strongly in delivering a final tangible product for your wedding photos. The power of seeing your images in print versus displayed on a screen is incomparable, which is why I want to present your story in a finely crafted album you can pass down to your children. I have a system in place to make the ordering process as fast and simple as possible. From your private online proofing gallery, I make an initial design of my favorite images and send it to you. There is album design software built into your gallery that makes any modifications you wish to carry out quick and easy. Please feel free to ask to see an album sample during our Skype consultation.
