An Elegant Paris Elopement in a private Parisian apartment
Are intimate elopements the new way of saying ‘I do’ during Covid? Whether you’re postponing a grand event to a later date or simply want a smaller celebration with close family/friends, perhaps even just the two of you, an elopement could be the perfect solution.
Lydia & Thomas's Paris elopement was the perfect example of a well organised, elegant, intimate elopement, centred around the couple along with their respective families and closest friends.
The ceremony took place in the apartment Lydia's family have been coming to for years, a stunning, typical Parisian building overlooking one of my favourite areas in the city - the beautiful Palais-Royal gardens with Paris officiant Laura ensuring a personal, touching ceremony was enjoyed by all.
Directly afterwards we took a little stroll through the neighbouring gardens before making our way to the Plaza Anthénée hotel where the group had a private room for dinner complete with views over the Eiffel Tower for evening dinner. So very Paris!
If Lydia & Thomas’s elopement below gets you thinking of eloping to Paris for your own celebration then I have a couple more articles that are full information and some further inspiration.
