Les Vosges. France.
One of the great things about shooting weddings is getting to discover parts of the world I'd probably never otherwise see. A prime example is the recent wedding in Les Vosges, eastern France.
Generally when we travel I highly recommend we arrive the day before the actual event. This avoids potential stress for any unforeseen travel nightmares that may occur when travelling the day of the actual event. It also allows me to scout the area before the day of the actual wedding.
For this event we arrived Friday, late afternoon. Quickly checked into our hotel, grabbed the film cameras and got to work shooting. These photos make a great addition to any wedding story, helping to set the scene and give the event a sense of location.
All these images were taken with the Mamiya 645, shot on Kodak Portra 400 film and scanned by Imachrom Paris.
