Hi, I’m Ian Holmes, and I believe that every love story deserves to be remembered in its truest, most beautiful form. Based in Paris, I specialise in weddings, elopements, engagements, and family photography, capturing moments that are intimate, joyful, and timeless.
Since 2008, I’ve had the privilege of photographing couples from around the world — particularly from the United States — celebrating their love in some of the most romantic corners of Paris and France. From the iconic streets of Montmartre to hidden gardens and fairytale châteaux, my goal is to tell your story naturally, beautifully, and authentically.

When not working I’m probably cycling
From weaving through Parisian traffic on my city bike to big days out on mountain bikes in the Alps, even crossing countries on multi-day tours. Cycling is by far my most preferred mode of transport.
I also have a love of cars and motorsport
Particularly vintage cars, and can often be found out and about, in my little sports car for a spirited drive over alpine passes…occasionally with Charlie the Yorkshire Terrier (small dog BIG personality) at the wheel.
